Herkel Production is a wedding photography and film studio in Dearborn, Michigan. Since 2014 we have told the stories of Metro Detroit’s Arab-American families — and of the brands that want the same cinematic eye.
Our story
Herkel Production was founded in 2014 by Abdulrahman “Abdo” Herkel with one camera and one simple idea: a family should be able to relive their wedding exactly the way it felt.
Today we are a full photo and video team — photographers, videographers, drone and editing — working as STUDIO HERKEL LLC from Dearborn. We film the celebrations of our own community: the zaffe, the dabke, the henna, the prayers and the laughter, in banquet halls, churches and gardens.
We work in Arabic and English, we plan every wedding around the family’s traditions, and we deliver photos and films families are proud to share and watch again for a lifetime.
